Praia de Copacabana

Copacabana Beach is a beach located in the Copacabana neighborhood, in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil. Considered one of the most famous beaches in the world, it was popularly nicknamed "Princesinha do Mar". Limited by Avenida Atlântica, its sands are home to great events, such as world championships in beach soccer, world championships in volleyball and shows.

Calçadão de Copacabana

The famous Copacabana boardwalk is widely used for walking and leisure. Between Avenida Atlântica and the boardwalk there is a bike path that runs along the entire edge of the city.

Forte Mirante do Leme

One can see the extensive strip of sand at Copacabana Beach. In this location of the photo is the Forte de Leme or Forte Duque de Caxias. At the other end, there is the Copacabana Fort, both open to visitors and with beautiful views of the beach, the city and the neighborhood. In Morro do Leme is located the Forte do Leme. The ecological hike to the top is one of Copacabana's attractions.

Forte de Copacabana

The Copacabana Fort is located at the tip of Copacabana, at the end of the beach between the homonymous neighborhood and Ipanema. Officially called the Army Historical Museum / Fort of Copacabana, it currently has a flow of around ten thousand visitors per month, making it one of the most beautiful postcards in the city. Previously the Nossa Senhora de Copacabana Church was located on this end of the beach, but over time it was moved to the interior of the neighborhood. This fort, opened in 1914, is a historical reference for the history of the neighborhood and of Brazil, being the center of important events like the uprising of the Dezoito do Forte.

Pão de Açúcar

The most famous cable car in Brazil is located just meters from you! There are several types of tickets and tours from historical to the most fun. Ticket sales are made online and the opening hours are from 08:00 to 21:00.

Escadaria Selarón

This architectural work that pays homage to the “Brazilian people” was designed by the Chilean artist Jorge Seralón is a mandatory stop during his trip to Rio. The staircase is located between the neighborhoods of Santa Teresa and Lapa and has free access at any time of the day. Take amazing photos among the 215 steps in this colorful and vibrant mosaic that is the face of Rio.

Museu do Amanhã

Considered the new icon of the Carioca Port Zone, the Museum of Tomorrow was built in Porto Maravilha, covering six major trends of the future that stand out among them: climate change, population growth and longevity. Sensory activities, and immersion in the knowledge of diversity are one of the options that our guests can find at the museum. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm (with the last entry at 5 pm). Tickets can be purchased online and every Tuesday is free.
